Around The House with Mike Gapes MP
London: 25 April 2019: The Real Agenda, the podcast for political change has announced the second episode in Around The House series which features Mike Gapes MP for Ilford South who after 27 years in the House, has left the party he had campaigned for since student days. In the late 70s, Mike was chair of the National organisation of Labour Students before serving for three years as the first student organiser for the Labour Party and then worked for the party until 1992 when he was elected to parliament.
Mike talks about the story behind the momentous decision what he thinks the urgent issues are and how we can fix them plus more about his ideas and hopes for the future.
